John Koshere of Chisholm, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on August 25, 1942.
He was a Corporal and a truck master with the 3631st Quartermaster Truck Company in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe.
Mr. Koshere received the: Good Conduct Medal, Meritorious Service Unit Citation, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with five bronze battle stars, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and three overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged on December 1, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
