John A. Kattainen

John A. Kattainen of Angora, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on April 23, 1943 at Fort Snelling, Minn. 

He was a Technician 3rd Class with the 137th Armored Ordnance Maintenance Battalion, 16th Armored Division in Central Europe.

Mr. Kattainen received the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, American Campaign Medal, and two overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on April 27, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
