John J. Uhan

John J. Uhan entered the Army on September 16, 1943, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Eveleth, Minnesota.

Mr. Uhan served as a Sergeant with Company A of the 1308th Engineers in Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland, and the Pacific Theater.

He was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and three overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on January 3, 1946, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
