John J. Sikkila

John J. Sikkila was inducted into the Army on November 15, 1943, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician Fifth Grade and demolition specialist with Company A of the 334th Engineer Regiment in Rhineland and Central Europe.

He was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and three overseas service bars.

Mr. Sikkila was honorably discharged May 1, 1946, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
