John D. Jurenic

John D. Jurenic of Eveleth, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on April 25, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.
He was a Private First Class and served as a cook with the 1339th Engineer Battalion in the Pacific and European Theaters.
Mr. Jurenic received the: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and four overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged on January 14, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
