He served as a Technician Fifth Grade and mail clerk with Company A of the 720th Military Police Battalion in the Pacific Theater.

Awarded: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, Navy of Occupation Medal (Japan), and two overseas service bars.

Mr. Baker was honorably discharged November 18, 1946, at Fort Sheridan, Illinois.
