Jerry D. Kearney of Hibbing, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on November 16, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn. 

He was a Staff Sergeant and a provost marshal with the Headquarters Detachment, 4th Training Regiment in the continental United States.

Mr. Kearney received the Good Conduct Medal.

He was honorably discharged on October 9, 1945 at Fort Francis E. Warren, Wyo.
