Mr. McGraw received the: Presidential Unit Citation with gold star (Americal Division), Combat Infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Service Medal with four bronze battle stars, Philippine Liberation Medal with a bronze star, American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal and six overseas service bars.
He was discharged on June 1, 1945.
