James H. Claypool

James H. Claypool of Duluth, Minnesota enlisted in the Navy on Aug. 15, 1942.
He was a radio technician 1st class at shore stations and service schools in the Continental United States and at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. He also served on the USS Denebola. He served in the Atlantic, Mediterranean and Pacific Theaters. On Aug. 15, 1944, he participated in the invasion of southern France.
He was discharged on Nov. 13, 1945.
