James Benvie
Mr. Benvie entered the Navy on December 20, 1943.
He served as a Boatswain's Mate Second Class and deck petty officer on shore stations in New London, Conn., Staten Island, N.Y. and in the Pacific Theater.
He received the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, China Service Medal, Navy Occupation Medal (Asia), and Philippine Liberation Medal.
Mr. Benvie was honorably discharged on December 20, 1946.
