Jack A. Anderson

Mr. Anderson inducted into the Army October 14, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Buhl, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class and instrument observer with Battery C of the 734th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion in Southern Philippines and Luzon.

He was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, three overseas service bars, and Philippine Liberation Medal.

Mr. Anderson was honorably discharged December 16, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
