Ira R. Isham enlisted in the Marine Corps on April 15, 1942.
He was a Corporal in the Pacific Theater. He was involved in the assault and capture of Kwajalein and Eniwetok atolls, Marshall Islands; Guam, Marianna Islands.
Mr. Isham was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, Presidential testimonial and World War II Victory Medal.
He was honorably discharged April 15, 1946.
