Hugo A. Larva was inducted into the Army on October 23, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Meadowlands, Minnesota.
He served as a Corporal and truck driver with Headquarters of the 45th Antiaircraft Artillery Brigade in Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno, and Northern Apennines, Italy.
Mr. Larva was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, Army of Occupation Medal (Germany) and six overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged on June 30, 1946, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
He also served in post-WWII in the Regular Army.
