Hubert E. Gundy

Hubert E. Gundy enlisted in the Army Air Corps October 27, 1942. Home at entry: Buhl, Minnesota.

He served as a Corporal and airplane crew chief with Headquarters Squadron of the First Tactical Air Force Service wing in Northern France, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

Mr. Gundy was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and three overseas service bars

He was honorably discharged September 28, 1945, Camp McCoy, Wisc.
