Howard William Johnson of Menagha, MN was inducted into the Army on June 17, 1944 at Fort Snelling, Minn.
He was a Technician 3rd grade in motor transportation for the 418th Ordnance Evac Company in Rhineland and Central Europe.
Mr. Johnson received the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, Army of Occupation Service Medal (Germany), World War II Victory Meda, and two overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged on Aug. 23, 1946 at Fort Sheridan, Illinois.
