Howard R. Johnson

Howard R. Johnson of Aurora, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army Air Corps on February 25, 1943 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

Served as a sergeant and refueling operator with the 357th Bomb Squadron of the 331st Bomb Group during the air offensive with Japan and in the Western Pacific.

Mr. Johnson was awarded the: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and one overseas service bar.

He was honorablydischarged on November 9, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
