Howard F. Hoene

Howard F. Hoene entered the Army on July 13, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Duluth, Minnesota.

He served as a Technical Sergeant and investigator with the Counter Intelligence Corps in Bismarck Archipelago, Northern Solomon Islands, and Southern Philippines.

Mr. Hoene was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star and three overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on December 8, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
