Herbert E. Donahue of Duluth was inducted into the Army on Sept. 16, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.
He served as a Technician 4th Grade and light truck driver with Company A of the 68th Signal Battalion in Luzon, Philippines.
Mr. Donahue was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal with one bronze star,
American Campaign Medal and one overseas service bar.
He was honorably discharged on Feb. 8, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
