FUNK, Henry Daniel
Henry Daniel Funk was born on January 12th 1906 to Henry Daniel Sr. & Lydia Christina [Loetscher] Funk in St. Paul, Minnesota. The family moved to northern Minnesota. On June 8th 1929 he married Signe [Westberg] and they started a family.
Mr. Funk of Buhl, Minnesota was inducted into the U.S. Naval Reserve on December 14th 1943 at Hibbing, Minnesota.
He served as a hospital corpsman at the U.S. Naval Hospital at Great Lakes, Illinois. He rose to the rank of Pharmacist's Mate 2nd Class (PhM2/c).
He was honorably discharged on November 17th 1945 at Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Mr. Funk died on April 12th 1988 at 82 years of age in Eveleth, Minnesota.
