Harry W. Peterson

Harry W. Peterson of Eveleth, Minnesota was inducted into the Army Air Corps on March 23, 1942.

He was a Corporal and a radio mechanic with the 711th Bombardment Squadron, 447th Bomb Group in the European air offensive in northern France and Germany.

He received the: Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with four bronze battle stars , and the World War II Victory Medal.

He was discharged on May 14, 1945.
