Harry Tyson was inducted into the Army on March 10, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.

Mr. Tyson served as a Private in the Enlisted Reserve Corps and unassigned in the continental United States.

He was honorably discharged on October 31, 1942, upon his request to accept employment in the mining industry.
