Harry Chiabotti of Soudan, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on Sept. 4, 1942.
He was a Sergeant and a medium tank crewman-gunner with the 2nd Armored Division in Sicily, northern France, the Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe.
He was wounded in action in October 1944.
He received the:
Purple Heart,
Good Conduct Medal,
European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with 5 bronze battle stars and five overseas service bars.
He was discharged on Oct. 31, 1945.
