Harris T. Severson

Harris T. Severson was inducted into the Army on June 23, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician Third Grade and construction foreman with Headquarters and Service Company of the 845th Engineer Battalion (Aviation) in Tunisia, Africa; and Rome-Arno and Naples-Foggia, Italy.

Mr. Severson was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and five overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on September 18, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
