Harold William Hill was inducted into the Naval Reserve on July 24, 1943 at Minneapolis, Minn.
He was a Motor Machinist's Mate 2nd Class (T) aboard the USS Wachapreague.
Mr. Hill was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Service Medal with three bronze battle stars, American Campaign Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal with two bronze battle stars and the World War II Victory Medal.
He was honorably discharged Nov. 25, 1945.
