Harold L. Larson entered the Army Air Corps on July 10, 1942.
He was a commissioned Captain and a civilian personnel officer in Chaubua, Burma (the field from which planes flew the Hump to Free China) in the China-Burma-India Theater. He hired civilian workers to keep runways open day and night.
He received the: Presidential Unit Citation, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star and World War II Victory Medal.
He was honorably discharged as Major in March 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
