GOODSKY, Harold
Harold Goodsky was born on April 15th 1913 to William B & Irene [Mad ji ka ma Goki] Goodsky in Orr, Minnesota.
Mr. Goodsky, was inducted into the U.S. Army on December 13th 1943 at Ft. Snelling in Minneapolis, Minnesota during WWII.
He served with Battery A of the 202nd Field Artillery Battalion in Rhineland and Central Europe. He rose to the rank of Private First Class (PFC).
PFC Goodsky earned the following merits for his service:
- Army Good Conduct Medal,
- European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal,
- World War II Victory Medal, -and-
- two overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged December 7th 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin. After the war he returned home and married Annie Agnes [Caribou] and they started a family.
Mr. Goodsky died in April 1975.
