Harold Edward Thompson entered in the Army on July 19, 1946.

He re-entered the Regular Army on December 15, 1949 and served during the Korean Conflict as a Corporal with Headquarters Company of the 412th Engineer Construction Battalion.

Mr. Thompson was awarded the following: Combat Infantryman Badge, Bronze Star Medal, Korean Service Medal with three bronze battle stars, and was honorably discharged on December 14, 1952.
