Gust M. Malovrh of Gilbert, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on April 30, 1942.

He was a Technician 5th Grade and a tank commander with Company A, 745th Tank Battalion in northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe.

Mr. Malovrh was awarded the: Good Conduct Medal, Distinguished Unit Citation, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with five bronze battle stars, American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was discharged on Oct. 30, 1945 at Camp Atterbury, Ind.
