Gunnard C. Soderstrom

Gunnard C. Soderstrom entered the Army on February 14, 1942. Home at entry: Duluth, Minnesota. 

He served as a Technician Fifth Grade and truck driver-mechanic with the 260th Signal Construction Company in the Philippines and Luzon.

He shared the following: “Drove various types of Army vehicles from jeeps to seven-ton semitrailers in the Asiatic Pacific Theater over rough terrain and adverse conditions of weather and blackout. Transported supplies and personnel and made truck repairs when necessary.”

He was separated on December 6, 1945.
