George William Skurich

He was born in August of 1927 in Marble, Minnesota, the son of Sam and Mary Skurich.
He graduated from high school in 1945.

“I had served under (S.H.A.E.F.) Headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany. S.H.A.E.F. stands for the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Forces. Provided internal security at the US Headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany, and other miscellaneous duties between Frankfurt and Nuremburg, Germany during the Nazi war trials in Nuremberg in October of 1946. Incidentally, the judge at the war trials was also from the state of Minnesota.”
