ESKOLA, George Rudolph
George Rudolph Eskola was born on March 6th 1927 to Walfrid & Tyyne Westin [Salo] Eskola in Kinney, Minnesota.
Mr. Eskola registered for military service on June 28th 1945. He was inducted into the U.S. Army on January 3rd 1946 at Camp Fannin in Tyler, Texas.
He served with the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment just after the close of WWII. He rose to the rank of as a Private First Class (PFC).
PFC Eskola was honorably discharged on December 4th 1946.
Mr. Eskola died on December 3rd 1966 at 39 years of age. He is buried at Lakeview Cemetery in Buhl, Minnesota.
