GABRIELSON, George Milton
George Milton Gabrielson was born on September 5th 1918 to Bror Alfred & Gerda [Olson] Gabrielson in Orr, Minnesota,
Mr. Gabrielson enlisted in the Regular U.S. Army on October 31st 1945.
He served on the demolition team with the 2232nd Area Service Unit in the United States during WWII. He rose to the rank of Sergeant (SGT).
SGT Gabrielson was awarded the World War II Victory Medal.
He was honorably discharged on January 27 1947 at Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania. After the war he returned home and married Eleanor [Hanskala] in 1948 and they started a family.
Mr. Gabrielson died on November 20th 1976 at 58 years of age.
He is buried at Leiding Cemetery in Orr.
