George L. Woods

George L. Woods entered the Army on August 10, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Virginia, Minnesota.

Mr. Woods served as a Technical Sergeant and mail clerk with the 3720th Army Postal Unit in Rome-Arno, Italy.

He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, World War II Victory, and five overseas service bars.

Mr. Woods was honorably discharged on November 25, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
