George J. Rupas

Mr. George Rupas entered the Army on February 4, 1944, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

He served as a Private and rifleman with the Second Battalion of the 383rd Infantry Regiment in the Leyte Campaign.

Mr. Rupas was awarded the following: Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, and the World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on May 4, 1945, at the VA Medical Center in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
