George J. Larva was inducted into the Army Air Corp on April 14, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Meadowlands, Minnesota.
He served as a Staff Sergeant and welder with the 303rd Air Service Squadron in Tunisia, North Africa, Sicily, Naples-Foggia, and Rome-Arno, Italian Campaign; and Southern France.
Mr. Larva was awarded the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with five bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and four overseas service bars .
He was honorably discharged on June 6, 1945, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.
