George J. Hill of Meadowlands, Minnesota, enlisted in the Regular Army Air Corps on October 31, 1945 at Fort Snelling, Minn. He reenlisted in the Regular Army on May 16, 1946, in Fukuoka, Japan.

He served as a Private in the 89th Bombardment Squadron (L) of the 38th Bombardment Group (L).

Mr. Hill was awarded the Army of Occupation Service Medal (Japan) and World War II Victory Medal.

He was discharged March 25, 1947 at Hamilton Field, Calif.
