George D. Bridge

Enlisted in the Naval Reserve September 9, 1943.

Served as a Chief Shipfitter with the Seabees. Honorably discharged April 2, 1945, Naval Hospital, Great Lakes, Illinois.

He has previously served for four years and nine months as an Army Sergeant with Company C of the 439th Service Battalion.

Honorably discharged February 8, 1923, at Fort Des Moines, Iowa.

George D. Bridge served in both World War I and World War II. During World War I he served four years and nine months as an Army sergeant with Company C, 439th Service Battalion.

He was discharged from that service on Feb. 8, 1923. When World War II broke out he enlisted in the Naval Reserve on Sept. 9, 1943. He was a chief ship fitter with the Seabees and was discharged on April 2, 1945.
