George Christofferson

George L. Christofferson of Hibbing, MN entered the Army on Aug. 26, 1942.
He was a staff sergeant and a motor pool dispatcher with the 3rd Infantry Regiment, 106 Infantry Division, 15th Army, and later a guard at prisoner of war camps with the 7th Army in Germany.
He received the:
Good Conduct Medal,
American Campaign Service Medal,
European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal and
Army of Occupation Service Medal (Germany).
He was separated in 1946.
