LOOK, Gene Rodney
Gene Rodney Look was born on November 8th 1925 to Rodney Truston & Isabelle Mabel [Waterman] Look in Belle Plaine, Minnesota.
Mr. Look of Hermantown served in the Merchant Marines during WWII in Africa and Italy from 1943 to 1944. Later in the war he served in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1946. After the war he returned home and married Beverly H. [Hoyum] and they started a family.
He was recalled to active duty and served off the coasts of Japan and Korea from 1950 to 1952.
He was a active member of VFW Post 137, West Duluth American Legion Post 71 along with many other organizations.
Mr. Look died August 18th 2002 at the age of 76 in Duluth, Minnesota. He is buried at Hermantown Cemetery.
