Fremont E. Homola of Eveleth, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army on December 30, 1944 at Fort Snelling, Minn.
He was a Technician 5th Grade and truck driver, with Service Company of the 20th Infantry Regiment in the Pacific Theater.
Mr. Homola was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, Army of Occupation SMedal (Japan), World War II Victory Medal and two overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged November 24, 1946 at Fort Sheridan, Illinois.
