Mr. Ambrosh inducted into the Army on June 20, 1941, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Gilbert, Minnesota.
He served as a Technician Fourth Grade and an auto mechanic with Headquarters and Service Company of the 370th Engineer Combat Battalion in Algeria, Tunisia, Naples-Foggia (Italy), Rome-Arno, Southern France, the Rhineland and Central Europe.
He received the following: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal, American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal and six overseas service bars.
Mr. Ambrosh was honorably discharged on October 1, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
