Fred W. Pratt of Virginia, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on June 24, 1943.
He was a Private First Class and a rifleman with Company B, 27th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, serving in the Philippines. He was wounded in action on Feb. 6, 1945.
Mr. Pratt received the: Purple Heart, Combat Infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Service Medal with two bronze battle stars, Philippine Liberation Medal with a bronze star, World War II Victory Medal and four overseas service bars.
He was discharged on Jan. 10, 1946.
