Frank William Nelson was inducted into the Navy October 20, 1943.

He was a Machinist's Mate 3rd Class in the 129th Naval Construction Battalion and 5th Naval Construction Battalion in the Pacific Theater.

Mr. Nelson received the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Service Medal, American Campaign Service Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal, and World War II Victory Medal.

He was discharged on March 18, 1946.
