Frank W. Linjanen of Hibbing. Minnesota was inducted into the Army on May 13, 1941.

Mr. Linjanen received the: Army Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, American Defense Service Medal, American Campaign Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal with one bronze star and four overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged on November 9, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
