Frank V. Kocjancich

Frank V. Kocjancich of Aurora, Minnesota was inducted into the Army Air Corps on October 16, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn. 

He was a Sergeant, and served as an airplane and engine mechanic with the 13th Bomb Squadron, 3rd Bomb Group, during the air offensive of Japan, Bismarck Archipelago, China, New Guinea, Southern Philippines (Liberation), Luzon, and Western Pacific.

Mr.  Kocjancich received the: Good Conduct Medal, Distinguished Unit Citation, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and four overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on February 2, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
