Frank Toutloff was born May 3, 1912. He was a resident of Ely and a member of the Bois Forte Band of Ojibwe.

Mr. Toutloff was with the 7th Calvary, Troop B, 677 Military Police and obtained the rank of PFC.

Service included the North Solomons, South Philippines, and New Guinea.

Decorations include the: Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster, 3 Bronze Stars, and the Good Conduct Medal.
