Frank Klune

Frank Klune was inducted into the Army May 28,1942 at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home of entry: Chisholm,, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician 4th Grade and truck driver with the 3181st Engineer Petroleum Distribution Company in the Aleutian Islands and Central Pacific Theater.

Mr. Klune was awarded the: Meritorious Unit Commendation, Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, World War II Victory Medal and five overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on December 1, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
