Frank J. Slowinski

Frank J. Slowinski enlisted in the Naval Reserve on February 12, 1942, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Home at entry: Duluth, Minnesota.

He served as a Gunner's Mate First Class (T) in the European and Pacific Theaters. He was assigned to the underwater demolition team No. 14 (UDT) aboard the USS Alcyome and at continental US stations.

Mr. Slowinski received the following: Bronze Star Medal, Navy Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with four bronze battle stars, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and Philippine Liberation Medal with one bronze star.

He was honorably discharged on December 10, 1945.
