SLEMSEK, Frank Henry

Frank Henry Slemsek was born on November 15th 1915 to Anton & Mary [Zuzek]. Slemsek in Chisholm, Minnesota

Mr. Slemsek enlisted in the U.S. Navy on August 14th 1940. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.

He served aboard the USS Idaho (BB 42), USS Pathfinder (AGS 1), USS Taylor (DE 415) and with the Com Ml Group 19th Fleet.  He rose to the rank of as a Boatswain's Mate First Class. (BM1/c).

Mate Slemsek was honorably discharged on August 19th 1946, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Mr. Slemsek died on May 6th 1967 at 51 years of age. He is buried at Calvary Cemetery in Chisholm, Minnesota.
