Mr. Barboni inducted into the Army Air Corps in July 1945, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Virginia, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class and a truck driver with Squadron C of the  3502nd AAF Base Unit.

He received the World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged by reason of dependancy December 1, 1945, at Chanute Field, Illinois.
